Cancellation and refund policy

This policy explains cancellations, renewals, and refunds for Tealytics paid plans.

1) Subscriptions and renewal

Paid plans renew automatically each billing period unless you cancel before renewal.

2) How to cancel

You can cancel from your account settings (or by contacting support at hi@tealytics.app if self-serve cancellation is unavailable).

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will keep access to paid features until then.

3) Refunds

3.1 30-day money-back guarantee (new subscribers)

If Tealytics isn’t for you, email hi@tealytics.app within 30 days of your first Paid Plan payment and we’ll refund you in full. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, typically within 14 days.

This is a voluntary good-faith guarantee, offered in addition to your statutory rights (see section 3.4 below). It applies to your first Paid Plan payment only.

To keep the guarantee fair for everyone, we may decline a refund where, before the request:

  • the account has used AI-powered features (label scanning, photo upload, AI-assisted import) more than ten (10) times in total;
  • the same person has previously received a refund under this guarantee on another account; or
  • the account has been suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms.

Your statutory consumer rights (including the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal) are not affected. See section 3.4.

3.2 Default policy after the guarantee window

Outside the 30-day guarantee above and any statutory rights, payments are non-refundable, except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

3.3 Billing errors

If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong plan), contact hi@tealytics.app within 14 days of the charge. If confirmed, we will correct or refund the erroneous charge.

3.4 EU/UK consumer withdrawal right (if applicable)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days for certain purchases.

If you requested immediate access to the Service (digital service) and consented to immediate performance, you may lose the right of withdrawal once performance begins, to the extent permitted by law and properly disclosed at purchase.

4) Plan changes

  • Upgrades: typically effective immediately (you may be charged a prorated amount).
  • Downgrades: typically effective at the end of the billing period.

5) Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback, please contact support. We can usually fix billing issues faster and avoid disruption to your account.
